Embark on an exciting journey by starting your day in Perth and driving just over an hour and a half to the town of Harvey. Check out Geovino in town to try some wine and buy local produce for dinner or your sundowner. At the Harvey River Estate, you can enjoy a guided wine tasting and climb the famous Big Orange for panoramic views of surrounding vineyards and orchards.

Head over to Harvey Cheese at Wokalup to taste award-winning cheeses made from fresh local milk. You can taste their range and also pick up some cheese to graze on later or attend cheese-making classes if you are looking for something more hands on. The clever folk at Harvey Cheese have also created St. Duke's Distillery which uses the whey, a by-product of cheese-making, to make award winning gin and spirits. The fermented whey is boiled, condensed, and then distilled with botanicals from neighbouring properties to make the from grass to glass gin.

Travel for one minute by car to Brugan Brewery, located just behind the historic Wokalup Tavern, for your paddock-to-plate lunch stop. Choose from a variety of dishes ranging from free-range chicken parmi to Wagyu rump with creamy garlic prawns, and pair them with an interesting selection of beers. Brugan Brewery offers a vanilla porter, dark lager, and citrus sour, among other brews, that you can take home in growlers.

After lunch, drive for 50 minutes to Cycletrek at Kambarang to train with Barrie and learn how to keep your mountain bike in top condition — be sure to book ahead. You can tackle the 10 kilometres of single mountain bike trail that winds through 100 acres of Kambarang. Mountain bikers will have a blast with the variety of tough climbs out of gullies, flowing single tracks, fast downhills, and technical rocky sections. In spring, you can book a wildflower walk with Sherry to spot different wildflower species.

Drive for 10 minutes to Glen Mervyn to enjoy a swim, a kayak, or try your hand at fishing or go hiking along the Bibbulman Track. You can also pull out a picnic rug and relax by the dam's edge if the weather is nice.

After an eventful day, head to Skating Goose Farm or Peppermint Lane Lodge to unwind. If you didn't book dinner at Skating Goose Farm, enjoy an easy dinner of cheese, meats, grazing delights purchased earlier.

Begin your day early with at the famous Dardanup Bakery, where you will be spoilt for choice with their delicious and freshly baked goods. From creamy chicken, roast onion, mushroom and Margaret River brie pies to Chinese barbeque pork with apple and crackle, the options are endless. The flaky croissants, handmade pastries, and sausage rolls are also tempting, and you can even take home some freshly baked sourdough.

Next, drive for 15 minutes to the Dolphin Discovery Centre and join an Eco Cruise (booking essential), where you can observe dolphins in the wild and watch them feed, socialize, jump and play. Afterward, spend some time at the Dolphin Discovery Centre learning about the ocean and the sea life of Geographe Bay.

From the Dolphin Discovery Centre, drive for approximately 30 minutes to the Old Coast Road Brewery (OCRB) for lunch. The hearty dishes on the menu will be perfect after a morning on the water, with options like smoky barbeque pork ribs, woodfired pizza, and Szechuan squid. There are also plenty of vegan options, such as tofu Thai salad. The OCRB offers 12 brews for sampling, including bitter ale, wheat beer, amber ale, kolsh, stout, and saison. The owners, Andrew and Ivanka, have Italian and Croatian heritage, which is reflected in the 1000-tree olive grove on the property.

After lunch, the drive back to Perth will take just an hour and a half. You can purchase craft beer, wine, cheese, and more during your travels to enjoy at home and reminisce about your BunGeo getaway.
